PortsDB is a collection of legitimate services, other services and Trojans that runs over specific ports. Trojans and certain services can be made to run on custom ports too, but this listing would list only the ones that could be commonly seen. This Database is a constantly growing one where any user is most welcome to give inputs.
Users would have to enter the port number in the text box, to see the services and Trojans that run on the corresponding port. Once the user clicks "SUBMIT", the legitimate services gets listed on the left and the other services and Trojans gets listed on the right. If this tool does not give a result for your input, it either means that you did not give an appropriate input or there is no record in our database that matches your input.
We are currently working on mapping the Trojans running over these ports with the behavioral analysis of those Trojans identified by various vendors. We are also working on fine tuning our database with the possible Trojans, illegitimate and normal software’s that can run on a specific port.
